FARRIER SERVICE PRICING

• Consulting Fee               $120.00 per hour plus 70 cents/km (within Alberta)

•  Pre-purchase Farrier Exam         $120.00 plus 70 cents per/km (within Alberta)

• Lameness Farrier Exam $120.00 plus 70 cents per/km (within Alberta)

• Outside Alberta, Canada               $1000.00 /day plus expenses 

TRIMMING 

• Ponies and Saddle horses                       $80.00 plus 70 cents /km

• Multiples of 3 or more $60.00 plus 70 cents/km

• Draft horses                                                    $160.00 plus 70 cents/ km 

SHOEING

• Ponies and Saddle horses                  $215.00 plus 70 cents/km

• Multiples of 3 or more           $200.00 plus 70 cents/km

• Draft horses                                               $450.00 plus 70 cents/km 

• Specialty and corrective shoeing are all priced according to specific needs, time required and materials used.  

• Training the horse to stand for the farrier - $120.00 per hour. 

• Teaching Owners how to train their horses to load in a trailer - $120.00  per hour.

For extended trips requiring more than one day a minimum charge of $1000.00/day plus expenses will apply.
